
Adobe has been focused on growing its market from the entrenched Hollywood editing and VFX softwares. To excite the creative video community, we created a social campaign to showcase the Adobe technology used to make Terminator: Dark Fate, and highlight their role in creating some of today's most exciting blockbusters.

Tapping into the film’s themes of technology and humanity used for both good and evil, we developed the #CreateYourFate campaign. We connected the Terminator franchise with fans and artists by reimagining and recutting the movie trailer with the tools from Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects.


We developed an art direction style that featured high-contrast technical imagery with a reduced color palette to bring digitalization to life.


We explored the use of Terminator UI elements to allude to localization, signals, and data, while developing a contest hub, and content strategy for Adobe’s channels, to showcase the campaign and produce a promotional video to announce the partnership.
The campaign out-performed expectations, and garnered 2.09M video views, 2.16M engagements, and over 1k in successful user submissions.
