Adobe has been focused on growing its market from the entrenched Hollywood editing and VFX softwares. To excite the creative video community, we created a social campaign to showcase the Adobe technology used to make Terminator: Dark Fate, and highlight their role in creating some of today's most exciting blockbusters.

Tapping into the film’s themes of technology and humanity used for both good and evil, we developed the #CreateYourFate campaign. We connected the Terminator franchise with fans and artists by reimagining and recutting the movie trailer with the tools from Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects.

 

The campaign out-performed expectations, and garnered 2.09M video views, 2.16M engagements, and over 1k in successful user submissions.
